The GIS division provides mapping and spatial information resources for Village projects, programs and staff members. The Village of Barrington is utilizing GIS to advance data-sharing, interdepartmental coordination, enhance public services and apply sound decision-making.

Major Service Acitivities

• Acquisition, creation, refinement, and analysis of spatial and tabular datasets.
• Staff support for various mapping/ data needs of Village departments, contractors and public inquiries.
