The mission of the Fire Department
is to protect the lives and property of the residents in the Village
of Barrington and Barrington Countryside Fire Protection District by providing exceptional emergency fire and medical services.
The
Department will accomplish this mission by maintaining low response
times and maintaining a professional and highly trained workforce.
The Department will strive to maintain a positive working relationship
and an equitable intergovernmental agreement between the Village
and the District so that residents of both are able to benefit from
high quality Fire Services at a cost that is lower than either agency
could provide by itself.
