Utility Bills Will Be Sent Monthly Beginning in November
The Village is changing its utility billing so that it will make payments easier for our residents. For years, the Village has billed its utilities on an every-other-month basis, but many residents have asked for monthly billing so that they can better plan their monthly budgets.
In order to create more convenient billing for our residents, beginning in November the Village of Barrington will switch from bi-monthly utility bills to monthly utility bills.
All residents and businesses receiving Barrington utility services will receive a bill in November, with payment due dates remaining at 20 days after bill date. Utility bills include fees for water and sewer, as well as waste removal charges.
Barrington utility customers are encouraged to enroll in Direct Debit for utility bill payments by completing the application found on the Village of Barrington website. The form is located on the Water and Sewer Utility Services page. The Village also offers convenient online payment via the State of Illinois EPay system. You can access EPay by clicking the link on the home page of our website.
If you have questions regarding the upcoming change, please contact the Village at (847) 304-3400.
