September 22, 2017 Update:

The Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project continues next week with pavement restoration along Liberty Street, North Avenue and Main Street. Pavement installation will be a moving operation and access to driveways may be limited for short periods of time. Please note that prior to asphalt placement, a coat of oil will be placed on these roadways to help bind the new asphalt to the old asphalt. This oil will be placed on the roads early Tuesday, September 26th. Should you wish to avoid driving on this surface, overnight parking on side streets is still available.

Additionally, storm and sanitary sewer installation will begin on Wool Street and Station Street. Any updates to closure timelines and impending closure movements will be provided.  All work is weather dependent and the timeline and progression may be altered as necessary.

If you should have any questions please contact the Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project Hotline at 847-620-4650 or ssrp@barrington-il.gov.
