The “Meals of Hope” Holiday Food Drive for the Northern Illinois Food Bank Ice House Mall will kick off the holiday season on Monday, November 19. Meals of Hope Food Drive is asking for donations of  boxed and canned goods for the Northern Illinois Food Bank, that helps feed families throughout northern Illinois. Please give as generously to provide meals to hungry families. Collections begin Monday, November 19 through Wednesday, December 27. Customers can bring boxed and canned goods to donate when shopping, dining or visiting Santa. Donation boxes will be located throughout the mall. For more information please call 847-381-6661.

 “Miss Merry Christmas Pageant” a Holiday Pageant for children is Saturday, December 15 at 1:00pm at the Ice House Mall, in downtown, Barrington. The pageant is for all ages to enter.  Age category begins with the Baby Contest at under 1 year of age and toddlers 1-3 years of age. The Miss Sunburst is ages 4-6, 7-10, 11-13, 14-17 and 18-27 years of age. Entry forms are at all Ice House Mall stores. All participants will receive a crown and trophy.
