“The unofficial results indicate at this time that our Village of Barrington residents have indeed passed home rule. We would like to thank the community for taking the time to learn about home rule and voting for this important governance change. We are excited about the possibilities that it provides for our residents, and we are confident that by being a home rule community, the Village can better meet the needs of our constituents going forward.”
