The Barrington Police Department is participating in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. This free event reflects the DEA and Village’s commitment to our community’s safety and health, encouraging the public to remove unneeded medications from their homes as a measure of preventing medication misuse and opioid addiction from ever starting.

Drop off unwanted medications from the comfort of your vehicle at this drive-thru event. Accepted items include over-the-counter medications, prescription medications, pet medications, vitamins, and vape pens and e-cigarette devices (batteries must be removed).
