The Buildings and Grounds Division supports the maintenance and repair of municipal buildings and grounds, painting, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, roofing, HVAC, irrigation and landscaping.

Facility Maintenance
Provide cleaning, maintenance and repairs to Village-owned facilities:
- Village Hall
- Public Works
- Public Safety
- Wastewater Treatment Plant
- Four well sites
- Cumnor Avenue building
- Metra Train Depot
- Barrington’s White House
Turf Maintenance
Mow and trim, fertilize and weed control application, litter pick up, shrub trimming, planting bed maintenance:
- Village Hall
- Public Safety
- Public Works
- Wastewater Treatment Plant
- Four well sites
- Cumnor Avenue building
- Metra train station grounds and commuter parking lot
- 11 parking lot areas and 9 passive parks
- Northwest Highway between Hart Road and Ela Road (Some of these areas are maintained by the adjacent property owner)
- Barrington’s White House
- Barrington Village Center
