The Village Manager’s Office takes pride in serving the residents and businesses of the Village of Barrington through providing exceptional services. Our mission is to implement the Village Board’s vision, priorities and policies, which reflect the will of our residents.
The department oversees the coordination of all Village departments in order to provide the most cost-effective delivery of services to achieve Village objectives.
Scott Anderson
Village Manager
The Village staff is led by Scott Anderson, the Village Manager. Scott began working for Barrington in 2019 and oversees eight (8) departments.
Melanie Marcordes
Assistant to the Village Manager
Melanie Marcordes has worked for the Village since 1997. Melanie serves as both the Assistant to the Village Manager and the Deputy Village Clerk. She is responsible for issuing business licenses, maintaining available properties for the Village, and responding to FOIA requests.
